Threadbanger is a network for people who love to DIY, recreate, refashion and craft. Forget about corporate stores, we’re here to help you create and find your own style! From our episodes, forum and blog to our newsletter and contests, there is something for everyone. Our goal is to bring together people who can share their ideas, tips and advice with others and help make the world more fashionable – Threadbanger style!
Thread Heads was the first show to debut on Threadbanger.com, with new episodes every Friday. Hosted by Rob Czar and Corinne Leigh, they scoured the streets looking for indie designers and crafters who could share their passion with the rest of us. Not only have they discovered a variety of different designers, they’ve shared secrets of their own in the form of how-to lessons. Want to learn to knit? They’ll show you how. Have extra coffee grounds laying around? Dye your jeans with them! They’ve now traveled all over the US, hitting up local craft fairs and supporting budding artists. And they love the fans just as much as the fans love them. They’ll answer viewer questions and feature projects you’ve made on their show. So if you’ve got a DIY fashion question, the Thread Heads have the answer!
How To Tuesdays was the show that we created for the summer season in response to all the people asking for more how-to’s! This show is a quick 1 – 2 minute show that teaches how to make your summer essentials. From turning slacks into boardshorts, t-shirts into bikinis and creating jewelry for those long summer road trips, we’ll keep you busy all summer.
Halloweeny Wednesdays is a quick how-to show only for the month of October. We got all kinds of requests for DIY Halloween Costumes, so watch, learn and create!
Holly Jolly How To is a once a week show only for the month of December, with new episodes every Tuesday. We’ll give you tips and lessons on gifts to give, fashion for holiday parties and anything you may need for the Holiday season. Happy Holidays!
Décor It Yourself is a stylish, do-it-yourself show for people who create their own fashion in their homes. Your home is your blank canvas to create your art of living upon. Your nest should always be changing, ever evolving, and a true representation of you. 'Decor It Yourself' is the show that helps you do this one project at a time.
Fashion Enemy made a quick debut with only 4 episodes in the summer of 2007. Host, Andrew Hanson will not only show you how to re-vamp old clothes and give it style, but he’ll put a rock and roll twist on it. Perfect for the rock star in you! Back by request, this show is set to make another appearance on Threadbanger.com. Stay tuned!

Rob Czar first learned the art of DIY while touring the world with Rock Bands
and having to constantly reconstruct a limited wardrobe of band t shirts with Safety pins and spray paint. Since then he's graduated onto sewing machines and scissors and hasn't looked back. Rob currently hangs out in Brooklyn NY , loves psychedelic folk rock, and Horror Movies.

Corinne has been an environmental activist since elementary school when she learned about the three R's (reduce, reuse, recycle) and endangered animals. She started a non-profit organization in 2002 to help people in impoverished nations, working mostly in Haiti, where she opened a safe haven for the children of Port-au-prince. After receiving a youth scholarship to attend the Bioneers Conference she became very inspired to help educate other people about how they can reduce the negative impact they have on the environment and future generations. She takes great pride in making things with her hands especially trash art. One of her many passions include playing dress-up and dancing in swirly skirts.
She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and Hosts/Executive Produces Thread Heads on the ThreadBanger and helps to develop and implement other shows on the network such as How-to Tuesdays, Halloweeny Wednesdays, Holly Jolly How-tos, Decor it Yourself, Fashion Enemy, and Compai's Rehab.

Morgan Hungerford lives in Washington, DC with her dog, her cat, her boyfriend, and her two very large closets. She is a girl of many projects (of which you can find links to at her blog, panda head), and is most likely, at this very moment, working furiously on upcoming issues of her quarterly online style magazine, panda head mag.
My favorite kind of clothing is both comfortable and heavily discounted
My favorite episode of Threadbanger was the one on DC street fashion, but I could be a little biased because I was IN it.

Stacy Schlyer is a self-taught sewer and self-proclaimed fabric junkie. While she juggles the everyday lifestyle of a stay-at home mom Stacy manages to do something sewing related every day and blogs about her (mis)adventures daily at StacySews.com.
My favorite kind of clothing is Jackets. I am a firm believer that you can never own too many and my closet is living proof of this! It's also one of my favorite things to sew up, even though they are more time consuming.
My favorite Threadbanger episode is the Valentine's Day episode - I loved the DIY corset from old shirts. I've always wanted to make a corset, but still never have!

Lee Meredith is the writer of the Weekly DIY Roundups and other crafty content here on Threadbanger, and has her own blog called "do stuff!" along with a zine of the same name, over on leethal.net. In addition to being a lover of crafting and diy fashion, she is also a photographer and a knit designer.
Her favorite kind of clothing for reconstructing is the t-shirt - so versatile, the possibilities are endless for making different shirt styles, dresses, skirts, accessories, the list goes on and on....
She'd have to say her favorite Threadbanger episode was the How-To Tuesday, Ninja Mitts because the Threadheads made the ninja mitts from her zine!
Geri Hirsch, the creator of because im addicted and Threadbanger’s high fashion/celebrity diy blogger is a 20 something from Los Angeles whose interests include literature, modernism, clothing reconstruction, Swedish fashion blogs, flowers, painting, photography adventures, music, water (drinking it and swimming in it), exploring unchartered territory and naturally, diy!
